I noted Rico listed Ace Torre as an influence. I recently completed an extensive article profiling Torre for next month’s (May 09) issue of Landscape Architecture Magazine. It’s an in-depth look at his design drawing philosophies and techniques, with step by step photos of Torre in the studio creating one of his famous “tilt-up” aerial drawings.

Great idea for a group! As I accumulate drawings with each class, I am at a loss of what to do with it all, what is worthy to include in a portfolio and how best to create a portfolio.

For a Landscape Architect to truy be successful as a designer, he has to be able to communicate on the level of the contractor. ya shows that there is no one right way to do it! its alros really fun looking at other peoples stuff and trying to figure out what they did so i can apply it to my own
