Imagine a sun-drenched afternoon in the Mediterranean… looking down from rocky hillsides at the glistening azure blue waters of the Med… the clear blue skies above bleaching the palette of greys, whites and blues that surround you…
Our garden reflects this distinctly Mediterranean atmosphere. The rustic cladding and woodwork add to the theme, which is punctuated by the use of greys, whites and blues in the garden.
Planting makes use of trees such as Olea europaea and Buddleja saligna, shrubs and perennials with blue or white flowers such as Freylinia tropica, Agapanthus and Rosemarinus officianalis to add a true flavor of the med.
Our unique water feature is integrated with a fire pit and hangs over a pond below. Water gently flows from the fire pit, over a rim into the water underneath. The fire pit provides the area with a cozy atmosphere and can also be used for outdoor cooking – a must for those warm summer evenings!
This garden is a place for contemplation and relaxation, allowing one the opportunity to enjoy watching the world go by… …in our fast-paced world where email and phone calls can find you almost anywhere, this is a garden that makes it easier to simply ‘switch-off’ and relax.
