After thoroughly reviewing the choices and comparing pricing to amenities, I too felt Embassy Suites offered the most bang for the buck, if you will. A quality, free breakfast, as Mr. Martin pointed out, plus free wifi, which only half of the hotels offered.

Thanks, Daniel! I’m pretty flexible. I’m now based in DC, so I’m starting my school research in this area (UMD, VA Tech, Penn). I’m also looking into a few European programs (Edinburgh, Versailles, London, etc) since I also have EU citizenship.
Where did you study? Where would you go if you could choose again? -

Thank you, Tosh! This is helpful! I’ve certainly found a large difference in cultures, funding opportunities, and facilities while visiting my first few schools. Since I can’t visit them all, I’ll look into narrowing down my options using the parameters you suggested.
I appreciate your help. -

thanks Daniel; I am going to go with one of the 4 or 5 they suggest, but looking to see if some are more desired than others.

Thanks Robert. After reading Andrew’s link I decided to simply contact the Project Manager. This project does require that planting plans be stamped.

While Andrew is correct it does go on to say that to conduct business one must be registered. Check the State Business website. Contact Tedd Duncan at Stantec for more info.

Thanks Andrew. It appears to me that planting plans are fine but I’ll still need to inquire whether the State agency requires that landscape plans be stamped.

Putting your work (sub-consultant) on a client’s (prime consultant) title block and sealing the sheets that only have your work is very common. And it makes sense because the disciplines’ drawings will have consistent information such as issue dates, revision numbers, addenda, etc., and it makes for a professional looking set. The bigger reason t…[Read more]

Hi Sara,
You’re response was correct. I’ve personally never came a acrosstamp would most liks a client that ask what you’re were asked to do. Anyways, you’re out of state would not be applicable, especially a for a grading plan, unless that jurisdiction allows it. When I worked in South Florida, the city/agency would only accept plans from a Civil…[Read more] -

The simple fact that you are not licensed in FLA should be enough to close this Client down.
