Jaką macie metodę na…[Read more] -

Podzielam zdanie Dominiki.

Ashley- In urban settings, supplemental irrigation is advantageous for the summer-dry months. Specifically, I’ve used inline subsurface drip. Quality growing medium like compost is important too, along with mycorrhizal fungi applications to help plants thrive through root establishment. Some native plant material I have used are: Juncus…[Read more]

These renders took about 25 minutes, 150 dpi, 2000 pixels in the bigger side, I used the “Final” preset.
Later on I discovered some other option under the atmosphere editor menu, activating global radiosity gives a new fell to the renders. I´m using Vue 7, I think there´s not radiosity on earlier versions. -

The legislator happens to be a brick mason. I heard that only 30 percent of the people in the Washington legislature have college degrees. This might say something about their lack of support for teachers, colleges and universities.

Hi Rfox,
I know that Vue Xstream is coming with a plug-in that helps integration with Max (it also gives chance to use Vue’s render engine in Max). But I haven’t had a chance to try it yet.
So, no I haven’t used any plug-in. I’ve created the plants in Vue and exported them via standard Vue export tools with maps & UVW Coordinates. These tools…[Read more]

does anyone know how rain gardens thrive in the Bay Area? I am wondering because right now, its the rainy season, so everything is getting a lot of water – but when it is summer and dry, how do the plants in the rain garden get their water? What plants do you suggest putting in the rain garden?

I like the plant library in vue and the ability to populate large areas, but it would be hard to get into a firm, so expensive and importing other geometries isn’t the best. I just like messing with it.
Are the 3d and 4th using the vue/3d max plug in? I haven’t really gone into it that far yet but it seems good.

In order to pass the new practice act in Washington, we had to capitulate to a legislator who said he “is an apprentice kind of guy”. So now the state LA Board is drawing up rules for the act’s implementation. One of the areas being addressed is this aspect of the legislation. As it stands now, the law gives a big boost to kids of licensed…[Read more]

Michael and Jim,
I noticed the update to NCASLA’s website and like the look. How are the two of you involved in the Chapter? I’m currently looking for employment in Charlotte and found it helpful to read some of the reports and get to know some of the firms in the area a bit better. -

We are strictly a design firm. I personally have some construction experience. When I hire, the FIRST thing I ask is about ANY hands-on experience. It’s extremely important in the residential design and PM environment. Although contractors are very helpful to interns during the construction process, I find that the construction mindset makes it…[Read more]
