L.A.R.E. – ANYTHING GOES 16 years, 1 month agoKatrina,
My reviews in the SF Bay Area are not inexpensive, but you get a very intensive introduction to what the performance sections are about, and lots of practice and feedback opportunities.
E-mail me and I’ll send you a PDF brochure. Rayfreeman3@comcast.net
Most people are more comfortable starting with Section C and saving E for…[Read more]

L.A.R.E. – ANYTHING GOES 16 years, 1 month agoI agree, if you can avoid taking C and E at the same time you may have better luck. It is a TON of information and you can easily get confused or worse: exhausted! That’s not saying it isn’t possilbe, it is just a lot more difficult. C isn’t too bad, but section E is notorious for being a multi-round test! If you can find a review course in your…[Read more]

Polscy Architekci Krajobrazu (Polish Landscape Architects) 16 years, 1 month agoTo nie do mnie pytanie, bo nie jestem ani starsza wiekiem ani stażem, ale szczerze mówiąc, rozśmieszył mnie pomysł ze wzorem 🙂 Byłoby pięknie, gdybyśmy mogli “brać” tyle ile z takiego wzoru by wyszło.

3ds max + landscape architecture 16 years, 1 month agoI believe it is a Nvidia 280 GTM, middle of the range but still better than the one on my old computer that ran max 2010 quite well. i7, 8 gigs of ram. Having some photoshop problems too. pretty much everything is frames per second related, it makes zooming and moving things around so hard.

Polscy Architekci Krajobrazu (Polish Landscape Architects) 16 years, 1 month agoMam takie pytanie do starszych wiekiem 😛 i doświadczeniem, pewnie każdy na początku swojej pracy zawodowej zadaje je sobie. Jak i na ile wycenić swoją prace? I towarzyszący temu szereg wątpliwości. Aby nie było wątpliwości pytam o wycenę całego projektu zawierającego koncepcje projektową? , projekt wykonawczy. Wydaje mi się ,że poniższy wzór da…[Read more]

3ds max + landscape architecture 16 years, 1 month agoMy experience with 3ds max 2010 on Windows 7 Enterprise x64 has been very good. Its certainly a huge step up from Vista. I’ve got a nice set of graphics cards though so maybe thats the difference. What kind of hardware are you running?

3ds max + landscape architecture 16 years, 1 month agoSo what are people’s experiences with windows 7 and max? I am running 7 professional 64bit and max 2010 64 bit and having some problems, mainly graphics card related. very low fps which is making it hard to model. though I am hoping that max 2011 which comes out in the next month will help.

Aotearoa New Zealand LA's 16 years, 1 month agoNot a lot of pure Landscape Architecture jobs out there right now. You need to get networking. I’ve had some contract work from asking around through people I’ve been involved with over the years. Keep busy, the NZILA always needs help with events like conferences, spring lecture series and the like. Volunteering still keeps your hand in the game.
