Living Roofs and Walls 15 years, 7 months agoOur office has done several green roofs and are now working on a project where I want to do both green roofs and green walls. I have a pretty good handle on the roofs, but have been having a tough time getting the green wall people to respond with samples of their products. Golf Course Architecture & Design 15 years, 11 months agoRyan, to answer your question from November, I am an avid golfer with a single digit handicap. I was drawn to golf design because I had a love for the game, then developed a love for the golf design industry and golf architecture. Something romantic about the whole industry to me.
I think you have to be a good stick in order to be respected in…[Read more]

Golf Course Architecture & Design 15 years, 11 months agoFix, repair or replace all those hardscape areas used for erosion control such as in the photo above. Try a vegetatable solution that is a permanent repair to many erosion issues. With the value of 1sq ft of golf course being as high as it is it is shame for erosion to eat it up. Deltalok USA Ecology Units will provide a permanent vegetatable solution.

Golf Course Architecture & Design 16 years, 3 months agoNo problem, Radu! Glad to help.

You would want to establish number of tees, size of tees and greens, etc. so that you could generate an estimate. Other things, like drainage, earthwork, etc. would have to come from past experience…[Read more]
