I do all of my best renderings on trace paper….just standard trace
My favorite markers are copic sketch markers because you can erase them from trace paper….
I love prismacolor pencils….
I draw all of my linework with a combination of prismacolor black pencil and staedtler pens……

Grading was tough , but I’ve been doing a lot of it at work and I actually feel pretty good about it. Site Design on Monday right out of the gate at 7:45 am was brutal. Everyone was pretty much working right up to final bell. The time constraint in design is that you have to come up with a design/solution on bumwad or trace and then transfer it…[Read more]

Hey Pete! So, hows was the test? I heard from abbi that the grading was tougher than the site design, but mostly due to time constraint. You feel good about it?

The the streets on the island of Bali in Indonesia are rather amazing. A contradicting yet some how functional mosaic of temples (Balinese Hindu), tacky souviner shops, bars, resturants, massage parlors, internet cafes, etc. all spilling into a 20 ft wide alley (street) that is already full of taxis, motorbikes, donkey carts and peds.…[Read more] -

In Sydney, there is a magnificent avenue of Moreton Bay Figs (Ficus macrophylla) along Anzac Parade. They’ve been there for well over a hundred years and create a dramatic canopy over this wide, major thoroughfare.
