I agree with Heather about building a track record of using the SSI. It is through application in the real world that tools like the SSI show their strengths and value.

The legislator happens to be a brick mason. I heard that only 30 percent of the people in the Washington legislature have college degrees. This might say something about their lack of support for teachers, colleges and universities.

Aren’t politicians wonderful? Did he do an apprenticeship to qualify for the bar exam?

I couldn’t tell you how to do it using drop shadows, but I could offer some good advice on doing it manually in photoshop without creating numerous layer copies and keeping the file size down.

Does anyone have good method for doing evergreen shadows in photoshop with the drop shadow?

James Richards is great. I love his simple color palette. He blends darker colors in his lighter colors to make things look cohesive. For instance, he used carmine red and true blue (i think it was true blue) prismacolor color pencils over cream to create this really nice effect. For anyone that is in the Nashville area, on Thursday, October 15th we are having a Tennessee Alumni reception which is also open to alumni attending the National Trust Conference. The reception is being held at the home of Ben and Libby Page from 6-8pm @ 3801 Richland Avenue Nashville, TN 37205.
