This first video is about clearing a dead tree and putting it down where it wont hit the fruit trees or the barn. Not an easy task. If you watch at the base of the tree you can see how small I look next to the 120 foot giant. The tree fell as planned.  Thanks goodness.  Dr Robert E McGinnis author of great books for thirty plus years.

This is a great idea. With worldwide economy in shambles, many people are looking for jobs and this not only helps those in need of a job, but also helps the employer make better contacts. rm (PS, I just wish I wasn’t too old to work)

In truth, I am very old, but I actually work everyday. Landscaping is the best part of living. I am rebuilding and elevating a dam on a lake as seen in the picture and I have another project of pushing back the jungle for a man who wants to reclaim his land from vines, scrub and rattlesnakes.

As a retired teacher I might tell you that if you are interested in teaching in the present and possibly worsening economic situation, you might consider teaching out of field for a year or two depending on the teaching out of field rules in your area. I did teach out of field once and it landed the most prestigious job in the county during that year. Secondly to that, if you are not opposed to relocating overseas, there are often opportunities to teach for large corporations who hire workers from a non English speaking country and need someone to teach English. All they want the teachers to do is be certified (and not always that), be able to communicate well and speak the English language. You can find those type jobs with a Google search. While you are at it, Google me and see some of the writings I have done on education “Dr Robert E McGinnis” and please use the quotation marks to narrow down the field.

Be cautious about answering the ads on every Google search for jobs overseas, some of these are fake and some are simply looking for a registration fee. You might do best by going directly through human resources of some of the overseas companies. If you need for me to list some of the better overseas employers, let me know by return email.

    Good luck
