L.A.R.E. – ANYTHING GOES 15 years, 10 months agoI took section C. My plan was to get through the test on my trace without putting it on the test sheets. Get them worked out and leave the labeling and all that for the end. I thought it was a good plan since I got through it with a few hours to spare. I checked them over and then started putting them from my trace onto the sheets. With about an…[Read more]

SketchUp 15 years, 11 months agoDaniel – You’re work on SketchUp is really remarkable. My opinion on SketchUp has improved as I see how much can be done with it showing realistic conceptual landscape designs. You’re making an impression on the technology in this field.

L.A.R.E. – ANYTHING GOES 15 years, 11 months agoOnce upon a time, the reference manual had symbols for plants used in planting plan vignettes. These disappeared in 2006. I suspect this is what you may be referring to.
Susannah,
One vignette solution showed a swale constructed entirely in fill adjacent to a road. There was clearly no need for a swale given the existing topo depicted. They also…[Read more]

The Sustainable Sites Initiative 15 years, 11 months agoHello Tamera,
Well, As a LEED AP, I can tell you that LEED doesn’t deal with the spaces BETWEEN the buildings on a level that is watershed centric, site planning, soils responsive. LEED does not give points for passive solutions, but favors mechanical solutions. In so many ways, LEED is very narrow, and SSI is very broad. Those are just a few…[Read more] -
