3ds max + landscape architecture 16 years, 4 months agoBest case situation, buy a blade server and kick your rendering jobs out to it. However, I would have to say that some of the best environs that come out of 3ds start as basic spatial models and are brought to life in post production. Animations are important to get right solely in the program and demand real power. You better have 2 computers or…[Read more]

3ds max + landscape architecture 16 years, 4 months agoI know of network rending, and have a vauge idea of how to do it, but I have yet to actually try it out. I’m currently running a laptop with 2G ram, 256Meg GeForce6800 Go Graphics Card, and a 2.17 Pentium Centrino. It isn’t fast, but it gets the job done. The dream rig I was planning before my Fiance’ got laid off was a Intel I7 processor, 32 Gig…[Read more]

3ds max + landscape architecture 16 years, 5 months agoHere’s some trees I got a couple years back. They’re even labeled which is nice but due to size constraints I can’t send each individual tree already cut out. Just layer use selective color tool in PS and they come up pretty nice

Therapeutic Landscapes Network 16 years, 5 months agoHere’s an article that some of you may find interesting, about what they are saying is the first “universally accessible” playground. I have a feeling it’s not the first, but it’s still perhaps a good example, anyway. Anyone down in FL want to visit and report back to us? http://tinyurl.com/mp4x6t.

Graphics 16 years, 5 months agohi, i’d been trying to blend hand drawing with computer, and i think i got a really good renderings. after i apply style in sketchup, i draw the vegetation by hands and put it on top in photoshop. when i Apply color in photoshop, i use the wet brushes.
