L.A.R.E. – ANYTHING GOES 15 years, 9 months agoI am happy to say two words to y’all…..I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is the BEST MOST AMAZING feeling in the world…..To all those who are still struggling through the testing process….stick with it!!! I took the grading portion 10 times….I repeat 10 times…..DON’T QUIT!!!!! It is worth it I promise!!!

L.A.R.E. – ANYTHING GOES 15 years, 10 months agoThe legislator happens to be a brick mason. I heard that only 30 percent of the people in the Washington legislature have college degrees. This might say something about their lack of support for teachers, colleges and universities.

L.A.R.E. – ANYTHING GOES 15 years, 10 months agoIn order to pass the new practice act in Washington, we had to capitulate to a legislator who said he “is an apprentice kind of guy”. So now the state LA Board is drawing up rules for the act’s implementation. One of the areas being addressed is this aspect of the legislation. Graphics Teacher Workshops 16 years, 6 months agoThis past weekend I took Richard Scott’s Sketching on Location Workshop in Central Park. Great class. Twelve “students” from high school junior to college students to middle-aged designers. Richard is a great teacher, clear, supportive and scary good at drawing and water color. Graphics Teacher Workshops 16 years, 9 months agoA year plus ago I attended Richard Scott’s Accurate Freehand Persepective Drawing class in San Francisco and found him to be one of the clearest art teachers I’ve ever had. It was not an easy class, but he was so calm and insightful. He gave very specific instruction with steps to follow. What stands out the most is how much he enjoys what he does.
