LEED in Landscape Architecture 15 years, 11 months agoDoes anybody have any experience with LEED projects in India? We are working on a possible LEED ND project in Tamil Nadu and I’m not sure how some of the US requirements will transfer over there. Is the USGBC pretty amenable to adjusting the prerequisites based on differences in infrastructure systems?

Middle East Landscape 15 years, 11 months agoHi all, since i’ve dabbled into the ME market, i believe it would be a good thing to join the group for all what its worth. Even though some may consider the market is slowing down, from my observation is that there are still plenty of works around. Have a nice day y’all.

The Sustainable Sites Initiative 16 years agoHello Tamera,
Well, As a LEED AP, I can tell you that LEED doesn’t deal with the spaces BETWEEN the buildings on a level that is watershed centric, site planning, soils responsive. LEED does not give points for passive solutions, but favors mechanical solutions. In so many ways, LEED is very narrow, and SSI is very broad. Those are just a few…[Read more] -

Portfolios and Resumes – Design Strategies 16 years agoI created my website a few weeks back, just with a taste of my work, I figure if prospective employers/ clients like what they see, they can ask for more.
First attempt at this, any criticism would be helpful. Let me know what you think.

Residential Design Group 16 years, 2 months agoI was wondering what sites residential designers use to find certain products or materials. Let’s say you want to find certain types of outdoor porcelain tiles, sculptures, water features, etc. Are there sites out there that are relevant for us to use? And if so, would anyone like to share these?
