I just got Revit and am starting to play around with it. Has anybody started to use it? I might have to take a training course though. We will see.

Also started playing with Maya’s MEL scripting. I got a book called “MEL Scripting for Animators” which is really good so far but slow to get through.

New brief for the Annual Cleveland Competition comes out in a week. Might be a bit more architecturally oriented this year (design for a transit center), but should still have some master planning efforts and good public space design.

We are in Phoenix, and we do mainly design and subcontract the work out on high end residential designs. I believe we are the main contractor, and the work is divided accordingly.

If you love design, find a couple of good contractors you can send work to on a regular basis. They will (or should) pay you a commission or referal fee for the work you refer to them. Brittany, 1 of my tips would be to write a personalized cover letter for each position that you are applying for… Also keep it crisp, clean and oriented towards that specific job….All the best!

i passed mine in march i think, and it didn’t post on the website for 4 months and i just received my certificate yesterday.

I called the USGBC a week or two back they are just beginning to print certificates for those who passed between may and june.
