For anyone that is in the Nashville area, on Thursday, October 15th we are having a Tennessee Alumni reception which is also open to alumni attending the National Trust Conference. The reception is being held at the home of Ben and Libby Page from 6-8pm @ 3801 Richland Avenue Nashville, TN 37205.

I’m a residential Landscape Designer in San Diego’s East County. Has anyone mentioned Tree of Life Nursery in San Juan Capistrano? They have a nice newsletter as well you can subscribe to.
I like to incorporate garden-friendly california natives in my designs.

Best case situation, buy a blade server and kick your rendering jobs out to it. However, I would have to say that some of the best environs that come out of 3ds start as basic spatial models and are brought to life in post production. I know of network rending, and have a vauge idea of how to do it, but I have yet to actually try it out. I’m currently running a laptop with 2G ram, 256Meg GeForce6800 Go Graphics Card, and a 2.17 Pentium Centrino. It isn’t fast, but it gets the job done. advice on learning to use 3dmax? i am so impressed with the images and would love to play, but am unsure how or where to begin. any advice would be greatly appreciated!
