Beautiful photo. I agree with Brian Lin, and recommend losing the “of works”. It is already implied and it also make the “I” look like a “T”.
Also, I have to agree with Ernst Glaeser. The cover is beautiful but it does not communicate “I am a Landscape Architect” instead “I am an awesome photographer!” Something to consider…

It is still ugly out there. Around here anyways. Half the LAs I know locally are not doing what they were doing 5 years ago and the other half are lying. The architects are hurting as bad. The best news is that the architects have time to talk to you now and get to know you. We are all in this sinking boat together.

You asked about spaces, but it more often comes down to people, I think:

I have a bit of “mixed reaction” to the museum approach that sort of expands on older roles but still seems a bit contrived, like this first one (although during a lot of the year in that climate, to keep up traffic it might be necessary).

Landscape architecture is better, of course! Kidding aside, Kansas State was set up such that all design disciplines went through the same first year program. Toward the end, each college pitched their program to the 1st year students and we headed off down our respective paths. I presume that most schools do this, but if a school has a st…[Read more]

The MLA Program at U of Idaho was great, Andrew. There’s a coupon on the U of I department of landscape architecture website that lets you get two degrees for the price of one. So I got both an MLA AND a degree in planning! Also, everyone who gets into the MLA program is entered into a drawing to win a Prius and other prizes! I didn’t win the…[Read more]

There are a few places where you can buy a California landscape architect stamp on-line. Acorn Sales and the Notary Super Store both sell the professional stamps for about $45.
