I know it’s all wack!
I haven’t been sued yet, just threatened……
typical bully ahole tactic….what suprises most bullies is when they
get smacked back! he now knows I’m neither scared or intimidated so
he’ll probably go look for someone else to bully… that’s how this type
operates….

Thank you for contributing this. Unfortunately, this only reinforces what other similiar or equal articles for at least a year. That is not a critique in the slightest. It is an acknowlegement that very little, if nothing has changed on this topic, and what the realities are for “architects” are the same shared realities that all…[Read more]

Which is a shame, as it’s a hard subject to study, and not full of people trying to find an easy way of life in the first place.

Steel and Aluminium make great edges and as far as injury is concerned any person can trip on anything really ( and as a kid I was always told to lift my feet)…I don’t think anything provides a sharp edge like steel or alloy can..I found the alloy was harder to keep in a straighter line and needed a lot of fixings, in fact soo much that we…[Read more]

Thank you everybody for keeping this discussion up to date! I’m taking the exam this week and I’m wondering if I need to memorize formulas (such as the MAWA) or are they provided on the exam where they’re required to be used? Thanks for your help!

Thanks to everyone who is offering to help. I have gotten a job since posting this, but I attached my resume and portfolio to the first post just because it still never hurts to have others look over my stuff so that I know for the future. Thanks again.

I agree with Wyatt. I prefer using sketchup models for plan and perspective views. The advantage of using 3D trees from sketchup is that you can change the angle for different perspectives of the same tree for a quick collection of entourage.

Totally agree. Great stuff at ARCHIvitamins and digitalcutouts. Christina, what album downloader did you use? I tried Pick&Zip, but it only grabbed what was on the first page. Others asked me to disable security settings, and that’s definitely not going to happen.

Mind. Blown.
For ARCHIvitamins, I had used a photo album download tool to speed up the process of downloading each photo from Facebook. That worked nicely. DigitalCutOut looks awesome as well. THANK YOU FOR SHARING! 🙂 -

I think two states, (one I know being Florida) recently have come dangerously close to deregualting landscape architecture due to the downturn. I’m sure many individuals have put the licensing process on hold as well as memberships. ASLA has reported a 20% loss in membership since 2008.
