social security and medicare are easily sustainable if the pols would stop protecting their own and raise taxes a quintillionth on over 250,000 incomes – it is ridiculous that Social Security is keyed to not increase in contributions past an income of 110,000 – ridiculous..

In a day when everything has the suffix -scape attached to it, it makes perfect sense to add scape to my name. i mean just pick up LAM, and you will be bombarded by endless -scapes… “trendscape” gag me!

Henry, you got that right!! Vietnam war shortly ended after the draft was reinstated. When you start to force kids from wealthy families into war, that’s when our elected officials usually feel the heat. They had a segment on this topic during the show ‘Morning Joe’ recently. They read the most recent casualties in Afghanistan and all of the…[Read more]

Green Streets 14 years, 11 months agoWater is allowed to enter then exit the raingarden farther down grade…. in a small to medium event most precip will be captured and perc in these areas. It is Florida so larger rain events will be allowed to overflow and enter into the existing culverts at intersections.

can you be grandfathered into to sustainability?

I agree with this, but what if the firm was established before sustainable practices became more mainstream? I would think that in this case it would be rather expensive to renovate/move a firmly established company. That said, perhaps over time and with the right funding the proper implementations could be made.

Im sorry, I did not want to assume you were married.
The point of the post: yes, i am passionate about font, no I am not asking for a pat on the back for being a crazy font guy. I don’t REALLY care if you use papyrus, because of one of the first post on this thread. Your “decision” on font doesn’t REALLY effect me in all actuality, but aes…[Read more] -

You do understand we know how to change font? I guess you just need to vent about this…vent away. But don’t expect all of us to feel as strongly as you…and I certainly don’t think it makes anyone ignorant…because they don’t feel the way you do. I actually don’t understand the point of your post. On one hand you want to complain about people…[Read more]

War? What war…? I would consider what’s going on right now “operations”. We haven’t seen war since Vietnam or WWII.Historically speaking, major wars are the only thing that get us out of the kind of “recession” we’re in… blow up the world and then sell them the goods/services to rebuild, oh, and take their resources and overthrow their…[Read more]

I protested the war in Iraq years ago before it started and have protested here in Moscow on one occasion…I think it was one of the anniversaries. The level of anger geared towards us was amazing…we had our children with us and people were yelling expletives out the window and pulling in front of us as we crossed the street.
That said, I was…[Read more] -
