I grew up in the seventies, but there is not enough flamable vegetation available over here to get me to look at a website devoted to dislike of a font, never mind dedicate a website to it.

I was trained by people who used to use Leroy lettering and they stuck with the same style in CAD within the plans – simplex. …not so rigid in  street names, water bodies, tileblocks, logos, etc,..

I cringe too when I see papyrus font.  And city blueprint drives me nuts as well.  Comic sans…pfff.   Keep it simple, people. Just think how much more of advantage you have over those using crappy fonts. If it makes a difference, why not own the advantage?

What work have you done? Just wondering in case we have more work…if we get a couple more jobs we are going to be looking for another person. Should add…we are design/build…so landscaping.

I see your point, but I won’t graduate till next spring (unless I run out of money after this semester). Of course I am looking for a job. But visiting firms in this case is more about seeing which firms I want to spend the time and energy to apply to, and getting my name out there.

The university of Delft has an infamous design program as well.

The NL is the best country in the world, obviously, because of the their conceptual/intellectual approach to design.  I recommend reading the book False Flat.  It is a good overview of dutch design, and their mentality.  Belgium is just a NL/France wannabe, and Germany was soo 1930’s (BauHaus).
