I think it would be really great and challenging to work as a landscape architecture for a city. You can explore your true power of imagination and creativity, and implement all your ideas to offer a new compelling look to the city.

There is no limitation to creativity and innovation of an architect in the field of landscape architecture, and they have the ability to create an all-new world, which can look absolutely real, and inspire people even to write poems!

March 27, 2013 at 9:35 am #155341CoordinatesParticipantI would just recommend you to make sure to put only the good, self explanatory stuff. You are adding it to create a positive impact on the employers, so be sure that you do it in the right way.
March 26, 2013 at 12:52 pm #155307CoordinatesParticipantYou can obtain huge perks, if you can develop into an efficient landscape architect. I think that the field of LA has huge earning potential, so if you are capable enough, you can easily get massive perks into your account in no time.
March 26, 2013 at 12:47 pm #155290CoordinatesParticipantAs a landscape architecture, you should think of ways in which you can make the overall structure that keeps damages to minimal. It is not possible to accurately predict natural disasters, and prevent them well in advance. But, you can create a landscape architectural structure that can withstand natural disasters to the best, and makes rehabilitation process a lot easier.
March 25, 2013 at 7:08 am #155352CoordinatesParticipantPrior to becoming a licensed landscape architect i.e. during the days of internship, entry-level or fresher landscape architects can not expect any huge numbers when it comes to their monthly earnings. They are firms that offer decent stipend during the internship period, and at the same time they are firms that offer nothing during this period.
So, it will vary from firm to firm, and even from one landscape intern to another.
March 25, 2013 at 7:01 am #155329CoordinatesParticipantI like the explanation given by Mr. Andrew Garulay, since it precisely answers your question. And, while designing your structure for landscape, you should make sure that you maintain proper regulating lines, which will have great influence on the end design.
March 18, 2013 at 1:38 pm #155371CoordinatesParticipantYour graduate project sounds very interesting, but at the same time it is very challenging as well. Try to do your homework and prepare a fine plan and then work according to it. All the best.
March 18, 2013 at 1:30 pm #155359CoordinatesParticipantRightly said. No business owner can make considerable or even decent profits from his/her business activities without having a well-devised promotion plan.
March 15, 2013 at 7:09 am #155416CoordinatesParticipantDesigning natural play spaces for kids is a great idea indeed, and it is very essential for creating that much needed bonding between nature and mankind right from the childhood. We need to save nature to save ourselves in the future.
March 15, 2013 at 7:01 am #155431CoordinatesParticipantI wasn’t aware about this exam before, and after reading this forum thread, I came to know about this exam conducted by California Department of Transportation to appoint only good, and knowledgeable landscape architects.
March 13, 2013 at 6:15 am #155580CoordinatesParticipantA good and cost effective way is to Google search for images that you are looking for, and select all those good ones that don’t have copyright restrictions. The process might be time consuming, but it will save you the money that you would have to spend on taking those images with the help of a professional photographer.
March 13, 2013 at 6:09 am #155420CoordinatesParticipantI personally admire the idea of embellishing the street walls, and even roads with some artistic works, as it can make our surroundings more pleasing. I stay in Bangalore, India, where the local government authorities have implemented the same idea, and made flyover walls and regional compound walls to look very appealing by painting them with some good paintings.
March 11, 2013 at 9:14 am #155463CoordinatesParticipantI would like to thank you for sharing this information about overlooked women in the architecture history along with their images that too on the right occasion of “Women’s Day”. Today, women have their hands on in almost all areas of business, and they can never be overlooked, since they might be physically weak compared to men, but they are tactically and mentally strong compare to most men.
