Hi Heather – definitely disappointing to see. Just saw the announcements; have read both press statements that describe very different points of view. What do you think the key disagreement is and what will take to resolve?

I have sections 3 &4 left to take; unfortunately it seems that Florida ASLA is not currently offering a LARE Review. Given that I will be required to travel out of state to attend a review, does anyone have any recommendations in regards to who does offer a good LARE review or who I should avoid?

Furthermore, sketches reveal more about what you are looking at and how you interpret a scene. I’ve brought personal sketchbooks to interviews that demonstrate the range of activities I do, where I’ve been, and my…[Read more]

Kai, I would say keep it to one page. That is what I always try to do. Cutting out something less important every time I have something to add to it. Although if you feel you have enough pertinent material to add, do so. But definitely no longer than 2 pages. I personally like the one pager.

A large number of credits under the Sustainable Sites Initiative pertain to vegetation. Check out my latest article “Green Math” in Landscape Architecture Magazine to find out what you should know to earn as many as possible.

I still have the preparatory materials that I made available in April (see below). Even though the test is changing formats, this material is still sold through the PPI website – don’t be fooled by the new packaging…it’s the same thing and they haven’t yet figured out how to adapt to the new format (see here for a direct comparison of the r…[Read more]
