The French just elected an anti-austerity leader. I am hoping that the US will also see that trickle down economics, cutting taxes on the rich, does not work, and reverse the course we have been on for twenty years and start to re-invest in our society. That would change your calculator button.

seems like you should get the job first, Roland. I have often moved without a job, and it is not fun. Recently I have moved WITH a job, and it is a lot better. Alland, you have to get tickets to visit the High Line in New YOrk, practically. It is hugely crowded, almost from it’s first day.

I read that some school districts that have been devastated by the economic downturn have actually ceased busing service for kids who live less than a mile from the school..Every dark cloud has a silver lining, or something like that – the ridiculous bus rides that kids take to get to school in the morning has long been a pet peeve of mine..
