Oh, please. Like the GOP is really going to have a viable candidate!
And a GOP president will definitely not bring about green jobs. They want to do away with the EPA, remember.
This is what we get for having a two party system. At least Obama got a few things done. -

Craig, your right. You brought something up that is worth merit, that i did not think about. “they’re just not the most important think to a landscape architect.” I respect that argument. to me its saying that its not that “we” dont care, there are just other priorities, but font can still be one of them, at least to me and other font cra…[Read more]

…. and yet no one cares about grammar or spelling?
I’m no expert in either, but I’d rather have your content correct in Papyrus than to have some of the spelling and grammar errors in this thread show up in the greatest textscape the world has to offer. -

If you want the full font family for a specific font you need to buy a separate package. For example the office I work for uses Franklin Gothic. Franklin Gothic consists of 20 separate fonts; condensed, bold, demi, medium, book, etc… Your right, Adobe does include a large amount of fonts, but you need to buy the package for the whole family. Now…[Read more]

Is it not hypocritical to advocate sustainable designs and not implement them into the design of A BUILDING OF A FIRM?
I think that we are way more conscious of energy and environmental conservation as each decade rolls forward to the next. However, we are also very image conscious as a society as well. And as is true with every creature on…[Read more] -

My community has these projects too…my City has been extending sidewalks and trails for the past several years. Additionally, we have funding for a transit center…and we are a small town but they are really encouraging people to use mass transit.

Forget Pres Obama’s Green jobs! He had his chance to make changes “we can believe in”. All we got is more of the same, including expanding foreign wars! As long as the GOP is smart enough to elect a viable candidate, Obama is one and done. Jimmy Carter = Barack Obama.

I think this brings up a good point that “green” is an empty slogan/construct.. what does it really mean? its like the word sustainability.. it just is some clever marketing scheme for us to buy some product because >1% was recycled. the car comment is genius, but creepily true.

Where do you live that you dont have a politician? It sounds like you are asking for some kind of socialism, lots of great case studies there. of course if everyone had a job and no one was poor the world would be peaches, but we dont live in that kind of world. i couldnt even get a job at a grocery store!

ahem.. helvetica was designed in 1957.. unless you meant a different war. Dafont.com is a free font website, and there are lots of great fonts that come on your computer (courier new, century gothic, century schoolbook, futura, garamond) you get my drift. All “free”.

adobe fonts come with the adobe creative suite. or go to dafont.com. and when you are done, just simply “create outlines” and save as pdf.. then you will not have any problems with people not having “your” font.
