Yes, in Nashville any licensed professional such as engineers and architects can stamp plans if they are “competent” in area of landscape design….a very lousy compromise but most are done by LA’s.

I am registered in Tennessee, Georgia and Mississippi.
All three have title and practice laws. In fact all the southern states require registration. Maybe we’re not so backward after all….

Cool, it takes a little getting used to…..but the difference in price with acad makes it easier to tolerate.
I tried the DraftSight program and found it very unstable, but it’s free…..maybe that’s why.
I use acad2004 and BricsCad…..I’m geeting familiar w/ BricsCad but like it so far……Oh, and I can open old acad dwg files in BricsCad…[Read more] -

i like BricsCad..i can open current acad drawings plus old ones from the 90″s….full version is about $400.00….THERE IS ALSO A FREE 30 DAY TRIAL. sorry bout the caps….it’s the closest thing to acad I’ve seen…

I can understand your frustration…I had a similar problem in the 80’s with my employer.
