They changed the security setting i realized. I cannot see the discussion page unless I’m logged in to facebook. It used to be that you could still read it without being logged in and only see first names.

Ironically, it looks like Clarb decided to take down their discussion page on the LARE changes….
 
Maybe all the complaints were creating too much negative publicity. 

Its funny that we graduated together what 5, 6 years ago? and here we are in the exact same position with the LARE regarding tests yet to take.

Personally I don’t think Clarb is out to get anyone. However if you choose to invest in registration then your passing scores should not be erased….otherwise its not much of an investment in my opinion.

I think its a raw deal if anyone loses credits from this transition. I’ve passed C and felt really good about E this summer. I haven’t taken D yet (I was taking my time doing one test at a time). I would hope I’ll pass this fall, but you never know until its finished.

I’ve used CorelDraw for about 2 years. I never really saw it as an inferior production to illustrator, I almost prefer it.
 

As someone who started the process about a year ago, I question the one year transition. Thats only 2 possible exam dates.
 
I guess I better take D this fall no matter what, so I don’t have to retake previously passed exams.
 
 
 

I’d go for the best buy personally (not the store). It looks like sub 1 TB is all about the same and 1-2TB are good buys. Anything higher and your paying extra to be at the top of the technology curve.

Just to add to the whole 90 seconds thing, you don’t need to show every project you’ve ever worked on in your first contact. Just pick a few that shows your best work and fits in with the realm of work of your target. So you don’t need to spend 50 USD on a mailer thats 40 pages long, cut it down.

Our program also required that an internship be completed. Wasn’t there a few who didn’t get their diplomas until they had worked out of school for a few months? (They went to Italy and had trouble getting an internship in the summer before their 5th year)

Makes me wonder how the students are doing these days on that requirement

We basically have a limited number of symbols that only delineate plant size. We then use a 6 letter code for the plant that is tied back to the excel master sheet. When I need to count, I just type in FIND in CAD and put the code in which brings up each instance of that plant.

When all the quantities are done the spreadsheet is pasted into paper space.
