Vanquish the elected Democrats in Washington… they are clueless. Turn the Tea Party into a seperate Party from the Republican Party.

Hi Jessie,
Why would you want to import a PDF into SketchUP? To my knowledge that cannot be done. You can import other file formats including .DXF and .DWG (In SketchUP 8 Pro) You can export PDF’s from SketchUP.

Hi Jessie,
Well I have good news and bad news…the good news is SketchUP is REALLY easy to learn. You can Buy a copy of SketchUP Pro for $495.00. Can you by a seat of 3D Max for that? The neat thing about SketchUP is a lot of programs are writing plug-ins for SU to get stuff in or out of the program easily. For Quick and dirty concept stuff you…[Read more]

It is the number on selling Autocad clone. all the comands are identical to Autocad commands… if you know AutoCAD you know BricsCAD you can run Autolisp programs for autocad inside Bricscad. Save in .dwg file format. Why do you think AutoDesk is talking up Civil3D and Revit? They would love to get you to move into those programs because they…[Read more]

Hi Andrew,
Would you be referring to Netpave? http://www.rehbeinsolutions.com/technology/Netpave50/netpave50.html?gclid=CIqAreHHy6UCFQta7AodOi3wmQ

Yes I get you point. The problem with most software companies. Is they are so use to dealing with large Engineering firms that think nothing of dropping the kind of money you describ per seat that those companies become the “standard customer”. And so they charge everyone else as the “standard customer”. This was pricing a lot of people who needed…[Read more]

Hi Andrew,
If you look on Stalok’s website, I did not see one installation of their product with grass on it. That ought to tell you something. I have samples here from Grassy Pavers : http://www.grassypavers.com/ Anyway the paver consist of plastic hexagon cells that have a hole in the bottom of each cell. After the pavers are installed grass is…[Read more]

That is the problem with picking Autodesk products. They are thoroughbred products with thoroughbred prices. I personally steer as far away from those turkeys as possible. I have yet to understand why anyone in their right mind would use Civil3D. I think the tools available from Carlson software are much better.

No thanks! I keep Autodesk as far away from me as I can. I can’t afford their services ( Nobody is more impressed with their products than AutoDesk) I wouldn’t even want to be tempted by something that might catch my eye for fear of them sending me to the poor house.

Careful William,
Vectorworks is expensive and is not mainstream in the industry, even it’s rendering engine was designed more for CG Artists. You may learn it only not to be able to find a design firm that is looking for someone with Vectorworks skills.s.
