I would also like to know more about this program at UT. I currently live in Austin and when I say that I’m applying to MLA programs everyone automatically assumes I’ll be applying to Texas A&M, which apparently has a very strong program. Most people don’t know that UT has a program.

I liken the great recession to a grand game of musical chairs. If you were caught off one of the chairs when the music stopped, you’re basically screwed. I hope all who kept their jobs realize how lucky they are.

Kinda hard to comment on it. It’s someones opinion. It really depends what you want to get out of it. I went to ESF 10 years ago for my BLA, and there are some good professors there, but that was 10 years ago. Things change.
