I attended a seminar given by a Dr. Bob Gerheart a couple of years ago. He is a well respected scientist here in california that specializes in Bi-filtration. Look up his name and see what comes up. Good luck.

In January 2007, I attended the PHOTOSHOP W/ ILLUSTRATOR workshop provided by LND Digital Workshop. It was a small group, 12 people I believe, so it wasnt two days of techniques being jammed in your face, there was actual time for discussion. About Riparian Restoration. Army corp of Engineers are the gov agency that oversees most of these projects. Cal Fish and Game get involved as well. I’d check those 2 agencies. Note: Buildings are “certified”, people are “accredited” – a possible question on the test according to a USGBC study group I went to. I am taking the test in December.

I live in Northern California…We are pretty dry…has not rained since this past Memorial Day and has not really rained since this past February.
It might rain tomorrow and this weekend…fingers crossed. I would be glad to answer any other questions about Northern Cal.

Response to comment by Brent Farrar, I have used turpentine and pastels on normal paper. you get a similar effect of watercolour, but the paper does not wrinkle, this was my solution to getting the watercolour feel without all the hassle.

Hey Brandon….thanks for the invite. I use Vectorworks to create landscape designs…..do you know where can I find more information on realistic coloring techniques to use on my Vectorworks drawings so it looks like I used real colored pencils. Are there any other ways to make the drawings look high end? Peace!
