On a side note…how do you deal with clients like that. Oy vay…we had a guy that was upset some replacement plants had finished blooming before the existing ones…due to the difference in weather here and the nursery. Sheesh. Just have to get thicker skin I guess!

My husband graduated in 2008 and I in 2009…we have been dealing with this for years. Stick around…this is a good place to learn how people are finding ways to keep their foot in the door. I am always advising people to try their hand at design/build…as I think you can make more then working at a nursery. 🙂

I agree with you both Craig and Leslie. If communities invest in large projects like this without taking care of the real issue the original investment is usually lost or devalued due to vandalism anyway. If people don’t feel safe, they won’t go anyway.

Yes! We love the insight we get from more seasoned professionals…and lets face it…we can all use some encouragement. Graduating during this recession has been very challenging and we greatly appreciate being able to share our experiences and hear others share theirs.

Yes I think that is the problem my classmate had with hers. It always happened right during crunch time of course. Her husband worked for HP so she was constantly having to send one back and get another one.

We have always had great luck with refurbished Dells! We still have a refurbished desktop from six years ago when my husband first went to school. It has recently had issues connecting to the internet. I would question whether they don’t have more rights then you or I but that is another discussion.

Very ironic isn’t it? haha. I actually don’t have a problem paying taxes as long as I feel that the wealthy’s needs aren’t continually placed over everyone else’s needs. That is unlikely to happen any time soon. 🙂 The idea of shared sacrifice is a joke.
