Those shareholders also benefited from the bank bail outs…otherwise their shares would be worth nothing. I don’t buy that it is up to the shareholders to regulate the business or to hold them accountable for illegal activities. Again reminded of how depressing this economy is…my husband didn’t get the one job he actually landed an interview for. Workin’ on four years since graduation and still can’t find a professional job…and people wonder why there are protesters?  :*(

Also wanted to add…that the fact that individuals think capitalism is a total failure is a symptom of how far our country has fallen. I will say that I think there are individuals within the movement that will cause a split. Looking at Oakland…the police force was brutal…but the fact that individuals fought back turns the dialogue from what it needs to be. This makes me sad.
