Thank you for making my point so well. Where am I questioned for my decision? Well, you insinuate that women are so weak that they are led down a road to motherhood where their days are filled with mindless drivel…like cheering their children on, volunteering at schools and raising future contributing members to our society. You can thank me…[Read more]

Thanks for sharing Andrew. I think it is so great that you had a chance to be at home with your daughter. I think it makes parenting more equitable and is so good for our sons and daughters to be around their fathers! I think this is becoming more and more common. In regards to Janet…yes, like I said before I know I will probably be in the same…[Read more]

“You see, my mum taught me that children enslave women. I grew up believing that children are millstones around your neck, and the idea that motherhood can make you blissfully happy is a complete fairytale”
“Then I meet women in their 40s who are devastated because they spent two decades working on a PhD or becoming a partner in a law firm, and…[Read more] -

I feel like I was taught great hand graphics from Stephen Drown at the University of Idaho. I am really grateful for the knowledge he shared with us.

I am not sure I get exactly what you are asking but will try to answer. 🙂 No buzz saws from me. I think women should have the choice of career, family or both. I think depending on the stage of the woman’s life this will look different. I think it is ridiculous to hear other women judge a stay at home mother as weak…just as it is annoying to…[Read more]

Can’t leave any opportunity to make a political point? They don’t run on party and last time I checked it is usually those really annoying progressives that support local food growth…at least in my neck of the woods and I live in Idaho.
According to the article there isn’t even a city code that prohibits the placement of her vegetable gardens. I…[Read more] -

Oh and I have done unsolicited concepts…well a concept…haha. A local orthodontist has deplorable landscaping!!! I found an image of their online and photoshopped new plantings. 🙂 I didn’t get a call…yet.

I am interested in this thread as we are also in a small community. I am not sure how creative we are in regards to marketing but I will document a few things we have tried that seem to have worked and those that have failed. I should also note that we do design/build, in some ways, I think this has actually been the creative approach that has…[Read more]

I wonder how they decided to focus on distilling the grief into two yawning holes. The author in the article Henry posted mentioned needing to turn away. I wonder what the site would look like if it had been designed as a place for healing and restoration, rather then a monument to despair. I like the idea of the tree that had been nursed back to…[Read more]
