Go and observe and even play in as many as possible. Ask kids what they like about each one and what they don’t. So much gets installed and never used, but you see the same thing everywhere. While there are standards to follow, innovation will always get you farther.

I still love printed media,magazines,books. I have an extensive landscape and architecture library of books that I would never give up. Too much research now shows only reading digital media actually makes you absorb/process less of what you read,

You think the firm interviewing you wasn’t affected by the recession.It has touched everyone. Be honest and hopefully you did something worthwhile with your time to improve your skills or expand your education,if you didn’t then you should be worried.

Most was learned on the job.It really is a niche market. Olmstead designed quite a few cemeteries. There is a basic rule of thumb,but it really is going to depend on what the type of final disposition is.
