I hope you realize that was a bit tongue-in-cheek. I know you can’t compare the two.
Just my little attempt at humor when I find it extremely disheartening that there seem to be so many that, in your words:are unwilling to participate in a societal attempt to be less damaging to other species in the world we share.

And why not work toward bettering the system, instead of saying it is all bunk..Unless, of course, you are a creationist, or someone who is waiting for the rhapsody..And I don’t mean the Wagnerian rhapsody..
Careful, Trace. Nashville isn’t too far from Dayton, TN, the former home of John T. Scopes.

Thank you, Andrew G!!! I’ve been biting my tongue during this entire thread, thinking the exact same thing. That part of the MLA curriculum does seem to be a time waster for those who have been in the professional world for a while. But…I wonder about the quality of research th…[Read more]

I kind of wonder what the point of the MSLA is if you already have substantial experience. Is it solely for the prestige that comes along with having a masters? I’m not sure what you can accomplish in a year. I also haven’t looked at the program, so may be way off here.

Robot replied to the topic Fined for Pruning a Tree in the forum GENERAL DISCUSSION 13 years, 6 months ago
I find this to be completely ridiculous. I absolutely abhor the pruning of crape myrtles in this manner, but find no reason people shouldn’t be able to. First of all, crape myrtles should not should not be governed by a tree ordinance. If trees are required when property is developed, crape myrtles should not qualify. Species that make lar…[Read more]
