Nice! I saw a Jeep CJ7 this color for sale the other day. It was “Hugger” orange, the same color used on the General Lee in Dukes of Hazard. I wouldn’t think an entire car this color would work but it did. It looked rad.

Scarry accurate. I don’t normally subscribe to this stuff, but this pegged me. I have a closet full of shirts this color, I have shoes this color, the interior of my car is this color, even my couch is this color (well, close). I even have a version of my logo in this color, maybe I should switch it from the monochrome? Guess I’m more like FLW…[Read more]

I would get licensed in another state just to have it done. I finished my license for Idaho after I moved to Massachusetts and took the exam in Maine. I got reciprocity in Massachusetts after I completed requirements for work experience. Having the license in another state helped me get the job that got me the added work experience that I needed.…[Read more]

I can’t believe that working for a registered LA in an “unlicensed multidisciplinary firm” doesn’t count! That is just crazy and I don’t see anything in their regs that would make anyone think they would be able to do this. I’m all in favor of protecting the profession, but not from itself.
The fact is, engineers and architects have enough ov…[Read more] -

Hey Marc, not sure if you are still active in this thread or not but thought I would share. There are a few companies that are extremely beneficial in their knowledge of sports field conditioning. From the field construction aspect, Sports Fields, Inc. aka “Fields” has done more heated sports field than anyone I know. Not only that, but the…[Read more]

This sounds very similiar to my situation. I was very sure I had passed, only to find out that it was not to be. So I paid for the review, flew down to Florida (I had since moved jobs), bought a hotel, rental car, etc. and then I looked at the review for about 3 minutes.
Technically, I had done everything correctly. Unfortuantely I failed bec…[Read more] -

Job title is what your boss calls you (and pays for)–not what you do or call yourself. While there are a lot of ways to legitimately “slant” a resume, I would be very careful with titles.
Your former employer makes a distinction between the two positions, because landscape designer is paid less than a project manager. If you list your title…[Read more] -
