Windows computers definitely blow Macs away for gaming, if you play them. Not even close.

I have gotten a couple of viruses, but I know how to deal with them. Mac’s don’t have as many viruses because there aren’t near the same amount of individuals using them. There isn’t anything special about their antivirus capabilities, if the roles were reversed and Mac had the market share that a PC has now people would use the same tag line t…[Read more]

I disagree. I have had my PC for 5 years too and it is still more than capable spec wise, I currently have no need to upgrade or replace anything. Building a PC with a long shelf life is all about the components you put in the thing, which if your a PC user, you can tailor to your needs not accept the pre-packaged MAC trend of the moment a…[Read more]

Anyone doing the latter is probably cynical like me.
Democrats: Hope we’ll do the right thing.Republicans: Pray we’ll do the right thing.Thinkers: Know that neither will.
Unrelated thought for this morning: Espresso is one of man’s great discoveries, it is joined with fire, the wheel, bread and vacuum tubes for guitar amps. -

No, its a branding. It has been perverted to the point where i have seen SUV’s who get 2 mpg more than their predecessors being advertised as the green option… right. so now that boat gets 22mpg highway, I should feel good about myself for making such a huge difference.

Your education is going to be expensive enough, so don’t spend too much money on a computer. With that as a guiding principal it pretty much eliminates the MAC as an option, which is fine because a majority of firms use a PC platform. MACs are more of a status symbol than anything else, and I don’t buy the whole stability / virus problem thing t…[Read more]

Green job promises sound really nice during a campaign to fool the lefties into voting for him.
$20 bucks says he’ll say the same thing next year and we’ll post this thread two years into his next term (if he wins again) wondering where the green jobs are… We will repeat this for the president after him as well… then when the oil runs out and…[Read more] -

if they bailed me out of my student loan (which is small potatoes comapred to the bank bailout) I would have a lot more disposable income, and I could then afford to buy/build a house and pay for a car and so on… that would help the economy too! heck, i’d settle for a 0% interest rate too, or make student loan payments tax deductable…[Read more] -

I stand by what, but that doesn’t mean that even found one thing that W did in office palatable, every time i heard that man speak i died a little bit inside. I never said Obama was worse than Bush, I said he was a bigger letdown which is completely fair. Candidate Obama was on a different planet than President Obama, and that is why he is a l…[Read more]

I think she is referring to the building in which the firm works espousing the same sustainable principals that the firm advocates…
I think firms are happy just making payroll right now instead of investing in building renovations. -

Alan there was a sale on iPhones this weekend and they couldn’t be bothered, and the new Call of Duty game has changed the way kids perceive war.
I think people on the left whom protest war are complacent now that their guy is in office, which is ridiculous. I think he is a bigger letdown than W, whom at least was honest about who he was. -

I did a garden for my landlord while I was in graduate school in Syracuse and we used a hard fescue seed that you move maybe once or twice a year. It mounds and looks awesome, and when some of it made its way into the mulched areas it had a nice spire which was very pleasant.
When I build my house, I will use this type of seed on my property, it…[Read more] -

I am a nerd and wanted to do it myself! Good finds though.
Are the fonts produced scalable? The one I made is vector based, so no matter what size I make it it will always look great. I am not sure the ones offered at the service there are, which may not be a problem for some, but for me it would be. - Load More
