true, Govt. does create jobs…..Obama has expanded the govt. by 200,000 jobs already….
the problem is that these jobs take money instead of making money…so they are not sustainable unless,guess what., you pay more taxes to support them….
also Tracie, you need to re do your math. 350 million would only be 1 dollar per person….so,,,,, -

The Chicago Museum of Art is a must…..
also, the Historic Skyscraper Tour is the most interesting and educational of all the tours I’ve taken…. -

So, how many firms do you think own their own buildings?
Most seem to rent space in a building……I rented space in a building for over 20 years and could have not altered the building….so………how would you make that work? -

Yeah I guess, it does seem quite hypocritical to me that they only seem to be against war if it meets their political agenda…and the new guy starts a war w/out congressional approval, what? can’t be true…

sometimes you can reinvent the wheel and sometimes you can’t….experience will tell you when each is or is not appropriate.

try this, ignore the client and see how long you’re in business…..that’l show em.
I go behind other LAs all the time because they didn’t do what the client wanted….
You can give the client what they want with style and finess that’s why they hire you. they

The local AIA and eneineers do a lot of community service projects….this gets them lots o pub on tv and newspapers….while the general public is still not sure what they do either. Many of my architect friends tell me that most of their clients think they are the builder or contractor for homes….funny how the public overall does not think…[Read more]
